Viva Las Vegas

Well, I made it back from Las Vegas with money in my pocket.I guess that would make my little holiday a success. I went out to Vegas for a long 3 day weekend with my friend Sharilyn. She is in the Spa industry and we attended a Spa Convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center and stayed at the Las Vegas Hilton. I have been to Vegas before but this trip was amazing. I think I slept a total of 4 hours the entire time I was there. In bed at 2, up at 6 and out the door. The sheer number of people was overwhelming. The hotel was booked! They have over 3,000 rooms. So you can imagine the wait for the elevators...horrible at times. Women in the beauty business cat- fighting over a spot on the elevator..very humerous. Unbelievable the amout of free beauty products I recieved. I had to get another bag to tote the goodies home. Not cheap stuff mind you, expensive high-end product that I don't usually treat myself to. It was like Christmas. We were treated out to fabulous dinners 2 nights in a row by businesses hoping to get Sharilyn to choose them for one of her Day Spas. Amazing the amout of money people will drop to get there product out there. I definitely think I am in the wrong business. I didn't have much time for taken photos but I was able to shoot a few from the rooms 17th floor. Can't wait to go back...maybe bring the kids and stay at Circus Circus...hmmm sounds like a plan.
