The Real Blue Angels

Here we go, now this is an exciting piece of machinery. On my earlier post I called them F-16's...wrong..they are F-18 Hornets...Striking in their Navy colors of Blue and Gold....I can't wait until Wednesday for the big show. Hopefully I will be able to take my own pictures...wait and see.Now here is a neat bit of trivia..
Where did the name “Blue Angels” originate?The name originated during a trip by the original team to New York in 1946. One of them came across the name of the city’s famous Blue Angel nightclub in the New Yorker Magazine.
