The Whelan's

Alex spent the afternoon in our nations capital today. His daddy picked him up from school around noon and they headed to DC for the day. Both kids love visiting the museums and we try to make sure they get their yearly fill of the worlds most powerful city. Attached are some of the sites one would expect from DC but what's up with the deranged bunny sculpture. Alex's birthday is next week and we were going to try to make it a ski day but the weather warmed up to the 60's last week and we decided that it was too risky to plan. So what happens?. We are now expecting snow again. Not alot, just 2-4 inches BUT Wisp (the ski resort) is expected to get around 10 inches. It would have been perfect but we missed out. oh well , DC was a nice alternative for the boy....NOT! He did have fun and he loves to leave school early, so all in all he had a nice day.
