The Whelan's

I know Krista is still pulling herself off the floor, but it's true. We are leaving during the kids Spring/Easter break, on or around the 3rd of April. We will be flying non-stop into Rome, visiting the colloseum, Vatican City and all the other famous sites before taking a train north to the Italian Riveria and visiting my girl Krista. She lives in Chiavri, about and hour from Milan and Pisa, so I am sure we will be doing some sight seeing there also. She has only been trying to get me to Italy for about what?? 6 or 7 years??? It's sad when you can fly for nearly free and still take that long to visit one of your best friends. I'm sorry but hey...better late than never huh? After visiting northern Italy we will again take a train and head north...Not sure where to yet. We can fly home from either Zurich, Paris or Munich. They seem to be the closest major cities by train and it gives the kids a chance to see what I saw when I use to live/visit Europe when my family lived there.
