My life as a kitten foster

As most people know, I am quite fond of furry little kitties. What alot of people don't know is that I foster kittens for a non profit cat rescue group called Cats R Us. What happens is this..I usually receive a phone call about a group of kittens that have just been rescued. I take them in, take them to the vet to get checked out, get their shots up to date and then have them spayed or neutered. This is possible by the help of local vets who do this on a free or low cost basis for the organization. I usually have them about a week to 3 weeks depending on their ages. Every Saturday, we take the kitties to a kitty adoption show where people come looking to adopt a kitten or cat. It sounds like a lot of work but it is very rewarding and both Alex and Elizabeth love it.
Check out some of the kittens that have been rescued.
This is a picture of Cambridge. She is 5 weeks old and thats my hand holding her up to get her photo taken to go on the Cats R US website.

That is the Susan I know and love! The Cat Lady of Annapolis!

Now Susan, go to Blogger help and click here and learn to use some html tags. Then you can make the fancy links like this in blue! If you feel real daring, you can also go here and learn how to put a link to your best friend's blog on your site! Did you see I already linked yours to mine?
