The Whelan's

It has been a crazy last few months. I went back to work full time for the first time in almost 5 years. I am still going to school full time and I'm getting really burned out. Elizabeth had another hamster just die and we buried him the family's pet cemetary in the woods beside our house, along side my kitty Popper who died right before Christmas. They were old and loved good lives. My newest concern is my favorite kitty Tony, he has leukemia and I am watching him like a hawk. A simple cold could kill him so I am doing my best to make sure he stays healthy. He is only 4 years old and deserves a good long life. No one could ask for a more affectionate cat.

There is a rainbow at the end of my rainbow coming up. We leave for St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles on the 18th and will spend 8 days there at our own private villa. We will then head to Puerto Rico for 1 day of sightseeing before coming back to the rat race that is our life.

Alex is on the count down for his 12th birthday, which is on the 14th of this month. I think he is more excited for his birthday than for the vacation. Never seen two kids who love birthdays so much. He is getting a new ATV 4 wheeler and he has known about it for months but that has not lessoned his enthusiasm. Unfortunately for him he will have to wait until we return to get it.

Well I know it has been a long time since my last blog but I am unable to think what else to say right now. So I will close with a wish for a speedy spring and good health to all and then try and blog again soon.
