School bells Ring....are you listening?

I know it's suppose to be a Christmas carol but it worked for this post. Most know that I have been back in college for 2 years now and I wanted to prove it.See photo! Back in August I had accummulated enough aviation credits to complete half my degree and received my certification in Aviation Management. Unfortunately I just found out that my past math credits are 'expired'"...have you ever heard of a such a thing? Apparently they expire after about 6 years. So here I was thinking I was just about complete when bammo, I have to retake a math placement test and take Algebra classes AGAIN. What a scam!

Yet another warmer than normal winter!

And I love it! Here are my kids with our neighbors kids, Lincoln and Caroline. They were out in our yard enjoying the above normal temps for the 2nd straight year of above normal temperatures. Of course as soon as the photo is taken the weatherman bursts my bubble by saying that a cold front is coming through. And it did. It is a bit nippy out but hopefully it wont last. Alex is suppose to be going skiing the first week in February and he is getting a bit nervous that there wont be any snow. With snow machines and colder temps in the mountains he should be fine. Liz and I will be flying to Minnesota and visiting the Mall of America. Suppose to be the larget mall in the US. As if I need to go somewhere to shop right? I just want to see what all the fuss is about and we can get home the same day if we want to. So much for saving money...but hey, life is too short and we should enjoy it...right Krista?

It's a new year, so hopefully it will be a good one!

Honestly I am so glad the holidays are over. Time to pay down my credit cards. They have been on fire lately. Time to start taking care of ourselves. My New Years resolution will begin now but only in small increments. I am eating better and in March we are joining a family gym. Why March? Because we are already committed 3 days a week for Elizabeth's basketball. Plus it gives my plastic a chance to cool off before I start using it again. :) The gym has classes for tweeners (Kids 10-12) in cardio, yoga and more. While they are getting into shape I will be doing pilates and yoga to try and limber this stiff 41 year old body up a little. Just had a massage today and that was heavenly. Great start so far.
School started back for the kids today. I don't return until the end of the month, yippee. I am so done with school and I can't wait until I graduate. A few more classes and then Miss College Graduate will take a long vacation...again. Looks like it will be Italy, France and England this Spring if all pans out as expected. Elizabeth was voting for Australia but that it tooo far away for a 7 - 10 day trip. Maybe next time. Plus, I wanted to see the crocodile hunter at the Australia Zoo and he is gone now too, bummer.
Anyway, this post really doesn't have much of a theme so I will just scroll through the pictures and see what I find. Until next time, stay safe and love to all.
